AJA Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") as follows regarding user information handled through the websites we operate and the services we provide.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the websites we operate and to LinkBento and our other services (collectively, the "Services"). If a particular service requires service-specific handling, we will display those details within that service in addition to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information to the extent necessary to provide the Services.

2.Information saved by users: category names, link names, URLs, notes, display settings, imported data, text or files temporarily saved in Bridge, and other information entered or saved by users

3.Usage information: login date and time, feature usage, category and link counts, number of times links are used, display mode, language, operation history, error information, and other information necessary to provide and improve the Services

4.Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, cookies or similar identifiers, access date and time, referrer, communications logs, and security logs

5.Consent and request information: date, time, and version of consent to the Terms of Service and similar documents; participation in early-access programs; account deletion requests; and records of other procedures completed through the Services

6.Inquiry information: name, email address, inquiry details, and other information provided to us by users

7.Information provided by external authentication services: identifiers, email addresses, and other information required for authentication when a user selects Google or another external authentication service

We do not collect the complete contents of linked pages for the purpose of storing them continuously merely because a link has been registered with LinkBento. We may, however, communicate with and process a target URL to the extent necessary to retrieve page titles, favicons, or similar information, investigate defects, or implement security measures.

3. Purposes of Use

We use collected information for the following purposes.

1.Registration, authentication, identity verification, and account management for the Services

2.Saving, synchronizing, displaying, importing, exporting, and otherwise processing information entered or saved by users in order to provide the Services

3.Responding to inquiries and providing support concerning outages, security incidents, and other matters

4.Preventing misuse, controlling access, maintaining security, and investigating failures

5.Aggregating and analyzing usage, improving quality, considering features and usage limits, and planning new services

6.Responding to conduct that violates the Terms of Service or applicable laws and regulations

7.Providing important notices, including changes to terms of use and suspension or termination of services

8.Sending information about us or the Services only when the user has separately consented

9.Complying with legal obligations and responding to disputes

Without user consent, we do not use private saved content, such as registered URL content, category names, notes, or Bridge text or files, for advertising delivery or user-specific profiling.

4. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Services may use cookies or browser storage to provide login state, language, display settings, and other functionality. We may also use access analytics to understand overall usage trends and display performance.

Users may restrict cookies through their browser settings. Doing so may make login or certain other features unavailable.

5. External Services and Processors

We may entrust external service providers with the handling of personal data for authentication, data storage, service delivery, email delivery, inquiry handling, and other operations. The Services primarily use the following providers.

-Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage

-Cloudflare Turnstile: prevention of fraudulent submissions through inquiry forms

-Resend: delivery of inquiry notifications and confirmation emails

-XServer Mail: receipt and management of email addressed to us

We select processors as necessary and appropriate and require proper handling through contracts or other means. A processor's facilities or subprocessors may be located outside Japan. We implement the necessary security measures and provide information in accordance with applicable law.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties without the individual's consent, except in the following cases.

1.When required by law

2.When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent

3.When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent

4.When cooperation is necessary for a national or local government body, or a party entrusted by one, to perform duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent may impede the performance of those duties

5.When provided in connection with a business succession resulting from a merger, company split, business transfer, or other cause

The processing described in the preceding section is carried out to the extent that it does not constitute disclosure to a third party under applicable law.

7. Security Measures

To prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the information we handle, we implement necessary and appropriate security measures, including access controls, authentication, permission management, protection of communications, log review, and appropriate selection of processors.

8. Retention and Deletion

We retain information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes of use or for any period required by law.

When a user requests deletion of a LinkBento account, we generally provide a 30-day cancellation period. After that period, we delete the account and associated categories, links, settings, and other data. We may retain information required for legal retention obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or another legitimate purpose, but only to the extent and for the period necessary.

Communications logs, security logs, and backups retained by external providers are deleted or expire in accordance with each provider's retention policy.

9. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion

In accordance with applicable law, users may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of third-party provision regarding their personal data held by us. We will verify the requester's identity and respond in accordance with applicable law.

As a general rule, users should use the relevant feature in the Services for information they can review, correct, export, or delete themselves.

10. Use by Minors

Minors should obtain the consent of a parent, guardian, or other legal representative as necessary before using the Services.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy in response to changes in applicable law, the Services, or our handling of information. If we make a material change, we will provide advance notice of the effective date and details through our website, a notice within the Services, or another appropriate method. We will obtain separate consent when required by law.
